Ultra Purge™ 3615

UP3615 is a universal purge, designed for use on all extrusion applications.

NSF approved, odourless, concentrated and fast acting, UP3615 is a low use (1.5 x barrel capacity) rapid clean purge, requiring only 10 minutes soak time to completely clean the screw and barrel on any extrusion machine thus speeding up colour changes, material changes and removing pesky black spots with ease.

UP3615 relies on a chemical reaction between itself and the resin being moulded. This reaction allows for the creation of a soap with a highly effective and non-abrasive cleaning action.

Truly unique, UP3615 is what we call a “screw pull” grade of purge and this is for two reasons:

1: UP3615 is incredibly effective in the traditional sense of cleaning the screw and barrel, leaving both in an excellent condition following a single purge.

2: If the operator chose to do so, they could pull the screw and manually remove the UP3615 from the screw and in the barrel and in doing so, would remove all remnants of the resin which has just been purged, leaving the screw as clean as if it had been “pulled” and industrially cleaned.

Processing temperature: 175c - 300c
