Designed primarily for use on injection moulding applications within the Automotive sector, UP1215T is one of the most cost-effective purging compounds on the market.

UP1215T is a highly efficient and cost-effective purging compound, used primarily on injection moulding machines.

The average dose of UP1215T is “1 machine barrel capacity” meaning a little really does go a long way with UP1215T.

Designed to work with most “commodity resins” i.e. PVC, PS, PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE and more, UP1215T is also fully mouldable.

The product reacts chemically with each resin that it comes in contact with, generating a soap which provides a powerful cleaning action. This abrasion free cleaning method allows UP1215T to be used on hot runners as well as the screw and barrel.

UP1215T is highly concentrated, working quickly and effectively to facilitate rapid colour changes and material changes.

Working best in what we call a “Sandwich” in the barrel i.e. old resin/old colour, purge, new resin/new colour, UP1215T is easily removed in 5 shots or less, dramatically reducing the scrap rates associated with colour and material changes.

Troublesome black specks are easily alleviated, with UP1215T able to effectively displace and remove years of carbon build up in a single purge, massively reducing the scrap rate on those hard to produce (and expensive) clear/white products.
